About Torin

Torin has over 5 years of experience tutoring and tutoring with students in primary school through college, although he specializes in high school and college students. Torin was the Director of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) tutoring center UC San Diego during his 3-year tenure. He has also worked as a 1-on-1 AP and CP physics teacher for middle and high school students. Torin graduated from UC San Diego with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and was briefly enrolled in graduate school at UC San Diego but is currently taking some time off to work. He also received minors in education and psychology which gives him experience tutoring social science and non-STEM students. He has a year of experience working in the medical device industry and in sound engineering. In his spare time, he loves to read, listen to jazz, and dance.
